What should I do to winterize my washer if storing it in freezing temperatures?

To winterize the washer, shut off both water faucets and disconnect and drain the water inlet hoses. Then put 1 quart (1L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket and run a wash cycle for about 30 seconds to mix the antifreeze with any remaining water. Finally, unplug the washer or disconnect power.
