What is the proper water temperature for washing?

Select the water temperature for the wash and rinse cycles. Always follow the fabric manufacturer's care label or instructions when laundering. Follow the water temperature guide on the washer lid. Make sure your house water heater is set to deliver water at 120°F–140°F (48°C–60°C).
