Why won't my washer start or operate?

The washer may not start due to several reasons: it could be unplugged, the water supply may be turned off, the controls may not be set properly, or the lid may be open. Check that the cord is plugged into a working outlet, both hot and cold faucets are fully on, the Cycle knob is pulled out to the ON position, and the lid is closed. Also check your house circuit breakers or fuses, as the washer should have a separate outlet. (Page 11)
