Error Code Reverse Polarity

The clamps are connected incorrectly to the vehicle battery terminals. The unit will emit an audible alarm and the reverse polarity indicator will illuminate.

? What Causes This

Red (positive) clamp connected to negative terminal or black (negative) clamp connected to positive terminal.

✓ How to Fix It

Disconnect both clamps immediately.
Reconnect the red (positive) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
Reconnect the black (negative) clamp to a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's frame or engine block, away from the battery.
